I've worked in the film industry for over a decade as a props master, leadman, buyer, and decorator and one of the things that I love most about working in this industry is getting to shop and source unique and hard to find items.

When I worked on the Hulu original "Candy" I had to find things that were period appropriate to the late 1970's early 80's, and it was a challenge let me tell you!

On the Hallmark Movie "Girlfriendship" I had to get in contact with Gullah Geechee artists to source artwork, tapestries, pottery and all manner of Gullah decor.

I've worked on many films and TV shows small to large and one of the first things people ask me when they learn I had a hand in the decor is "Oh I loved the _________ where did you find it?" That is what this blog is primarily about!

I want to take my knowledge and experience from working in the film industry, locating hard to find items, and lend it to you. I want you to be able to dress like a Desperate Housewive, or decorate your home like a young 20 something who just moved to the big city and couldn't possibly afford that 2000 sqft fully furnished industrial loft they are living in on a waitresses salary.
